Booking & scheduling
How often will you clean my windows?

We can clean them as often or as infrequently as you like. Most customers choose every 4 or 8 weeks.

Can I specify the day?

We’ll do our best to accommodate a special request, which may include some internal window cleaning where you’ll need to be in. Regular external window cleaning has to be undertaken when we’re cleaning other houses in your area.

Will it be the same day every time?

No. Unfortunately, due to inclement weather, staff holidays and unforeseen circumstances, we can’t guarantee the same day every time.

Will you let me know you’re coming?

We offer all customers a text or call alert on the evening before your windows are due to be cleaned, usually between 6:00pm and 8:00pm.

Will it be the same member of staff every time?

It won’t necessarily be the same person who visits your property on every occasion.

Do I need to be at home?

No. We’ll do the work and leave a card to let you know we’ve cleaned your windows. The driveway will need to be clear of cars, but we’re happy to move and replace plant pots, garden furniture and other items.

Is the price you quote me fixed?

Initially we provide two prices: one for the initial deep clean, then a regular price for every clean thereafter. The regular price is what you’ll pay after the first clean. There are no hidden charges.

When do I pay you?

We respectfully invite all customers to join GoCardless, our Direct Debit scheme.

Can I cancel at any time?

Yes. You can call or email and we’ll terminate our agreement with immediate effect.

Will you do a one-off clean?

No, I’m afraid we don’t offer one-off cleans.

Does the weather affect the service?

Our operatives work all year round in most weather conditions.

Window cleaning
Do you clean the frames every time?

Yes. Windows, frames and sills are included as standard on every clean.

Can you clean my windows inside?

Yes we can. Interior window cleaning is generally double the price of the external.

Do you offer the traditional method of window cleaning?

No. We clean exclusively with our pure water reach-and-wash system. It’s safer, less intrusive, and leaves the glass cleaner for longer than the traditional ladder-and-squeegee method.

Do you need to park near the house?

Yes. We’d need to park as near to your house as possible. If parking is problematic, it may be difficult to provide you with this service.

Do you use your own water?

No. We’d need access to an outside tap with good water pressure.

Gutter clearing
Is it important to have my gutters cleared out?

Yes. Gutters become clogged with debris such as moss, leaves, weeds and grass, which affects their ability to drain water away. If left, this can lead to internal damp, damage to brickwork and rendering, and can even damage the foundations.

How often should I have my gutters cleared out?

This depends on where you live. If there are big trees around your house, we recommend at least once a year. If there are no trees, then perhaps every two or three years.

Do I need to be home when you clean my gutters?

Yes. We’ll need access to a power source, so please ensure someone is at home at the time of your appointment.

Where will the gutter debris go?

We’ll dispose of the gutter debris in your garden waste bin or a suitable compost area within the garden.

uPVC, fascias & conservatory
Why should I have my uPVC / conservatory cleaned?

Over the years, if not maintained, uPVC and conservatories become grey and discoloured, which affects the appearance of your property in a negative way.

How do you clean the uPVC / conservatory?

We use a water brush to clean all the grime and dirt from your uPVC soffits, fascias, the outsides of gutters and downpipes. This method is highly efficient and removes dirt, grime, dust and green algae — however, it won’t remove any ‘greyness’ or discolouration that happens over time. Regular annual cleaning helps prevent discolouration and keeps your property in tip-top condition.

How often should I have my roofline cleaned?

Ideally, once a year. A regular clean will keep your property looking well loved!

Jet washing, driveways & patios
Why should I have my driveway or patio jet washed?

A clean driveway or patio is always nice to see. If left unmaintained for too long, it can become full of weeds, moss and algae, which can make it dangerous and slippery.

Do you re-sand block paving?

Yes. We brush kiln-dried sand into the joints after the cleaning process has dried.

How often should I have my driveway or patio cleaned?

Ideally, once per year to keep the areas looking clean and tidy.
